I had my Droid for 3 months and then it wouldn't come out of the startup screens. Verizon had a replacement overnighted to me, but now my replacement went crazy and applications started opening without my even touching the phone or would randomly switch between my 3 home screens and the applications bar. Anyone else experience this?

The one thing I did notice is the weather was extremely humid both times.

Hmm that is pretty odd. I recently used my Droid in extreme heat & humidity for the first time. I was video recording with my Droid in 95 degree heat for 8 minutes straight. After I was done recording, my phone was VERY hot! I just put it on my belt and let it cool off for a while. Never had problems.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I wonder if your replacement was a used phone? I thought replacement phones under insurance were NEW phones, not used or refurbs. Heck I can't imagine there would be any used/refurbs in stock. Who would return the Droid?

yup i had a lot of problems like that.....it was going nuts, one day it was fine the next it was opening and shutting applications like no ones biz......

For clarification, the phone was plugged in overnight and I had just taken it off the charger. Restarted the phone 6 times and pulled out the battery to no avail.

And yes, the replacement phone is a new one, not refurbished. You transfer your current battery and SD card to the new phone.
