Alright, i've never had an issue like this before, but I looked at my battery usage, and handcent was using 21% of my battery! the screen has only used 36%!!! does anyone else see this on their phones? I've used Handcent forever, since my OG droid and it's never drained my battery like this. Maybe this is a one time only fluke, I simply thought I would share

Sounds odd for sure. I have not seen that issue on my dinc or Thunderbolt. Perhaps try uninstalling and reinstalling?

You know it MAY be a 1 time thing. I saw exactly the same when I was trying (FINALLY SUCCESSFUL) to get the LED to flash for more than 5 min.

Oh please share how unless it's an app of course then i'll pass don't need more battery drain lol.

In Handcent I have my Notifications settings as: Vibrate: Always; Vibrate pattern: Normal; Blink LED checked; Enable Remiders Checked; Number of Reminders, 'Keep Repeating; Reminder Interval, 15. This last setting I think is the key. I had it at 5 thinking it needed to be the same as the stock LED flash limit.

Before the changes above I would get a vibrate reminder and inconsistent LED flash after 5 min. It's entirely possible that Handcent also updated their app's handling on the TBolt since last Thursday as they have had at least 2 revisisions. Good luck and please let me know if this works for you.

Just so I am clear on your settings, is it vibrating every 5 minutes for you also?

Well now I'm stumped. For some reason Handcent is staying active the entire time a reminder is firing!

If it flashes for 60 min I'll see 60 minutes of run time in the battery use applet. Are others seeing this? :-(

3/25: I just can't get the LED reminder to work consistently for more than 5 min. Am I the only one?
