there has been some problem for handcent in the google market. go to the handcent website, u can have the latest version, 3.0.4. i just download and installed it.

their steps also turned me on to tAttachApkInstaller which allows you to install APK files via email attachments. way less trouble than putting on an SD card and using some other tool to install it or using command line

+1 ... that's what I've been using.

as an aside:
I created a separate DB account just for my EVO, so if I misplace it, someone won't have access to all my personal files. I share a folder between the two accounts. working well so far.
