Hangouts Issue

This morning I was trying to delete threads and it was taking a while to delete. After creating a new text to a friend I noticed it wasnt sending my text. The text would disappear after I would click send. The only thing that seems to work is texting my girlfriend that uses hangouts as well.

Anyone know why this is acting up?

Hangouts can be a bit wonky at times. Nothing new there..

If its bothering you that much you can try to reboot the device see if that clears things up. Otherwise clear cache ( NOT DATA ) on the Hangouts app and see if that helps clear out some cob webs as well.

It may be as simple as servers on Google are overloaded right now.

i called google and they said there is no fix for it at the moment, for me to use whatsapp and wait it out. just a few minutes ago i received all my retro texts. guessing its back in business
