Hangouts Question

If you are logged in and having a hangout session, does the message count as text or data on your bill? Just wondered if it's billed and shown as a text message.

Not that I'm aware of for text count, over all data usage yes it may count.

It depends on how the Hangout was started. If the image representing the other person shows an "SMS" tag over it, it counts on your text count. If it doesn't, it's a Hangouts chat and is only counting against data
