I have bought a Hannspree Tablet model SN14T71 (13.3" screen) and it's driving me bananas. Nothing works properly. I can access the internet but my browser is out of date. I go to use software updater which is OTA and I'm told "Error fetching update info No Peer Certificate". I insert a micro SD card (Sandisk Ultra 32Gb) and it says 'mount card'. I do that and it shows up in settings as having just over 29Gb available so the tablet recognizes it's there. When I access and download sites for software I think will help I hit download and it says "You need SD card, no SD card installed".
The settings screen reads as follows :
Android version 4.2.2
Kernel 3.0 36+ Wed Sep 25 14:37:39 HKT 2013
Build 20130925E - V1.08-13.3
OTA Updater ID hannstar133-europe-1.08
TP Firmware 0.0.4.0.
Rom version 1-08 25 Sep 2013 00:00:00
I imagine it needs 'flashing' or something but when I allow usb debugging and select it as a mass storage device or to transfer files my PC does not find it when I connect it up via USB connector.
I am absolutley baffled and desperate for any information/assistance anyone can provide on what to do. Most of the file links online are now defunct and out of date. Is there anybody out there who can bring light where there is currently total blackout ??
