Happy 1st Birthday Galaxy S21 series!

It has been a year since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series of phones.

In that time there has been around 26 stable updates and 3 beta releases for the international model, depending on location and CSC code.

Personally, I am loving my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, SM-G998B, model on the latest BVA9 update. The phone has come a long way in the last year and it is very fast and smooth with no lags or stutters and a great battery life and a camera that now more than suits my needs.

Lets see what the next year brings with the roll-out of One UI 4.1.

My S21 Ultra has been my favorite phone ever, have really enjoyed using it the past 12 months. Will be sad when I trade it in.

My S21 ultra is without question the best phone I've ever owned, legitimately amazing (I even found a use for the S-pen a couple of days ago, after a year lol).

But I don't love it like I've loved other phones, such as my S10e before it...

Like ironass, I'm intrigued by the Exynos 2200, especially with the AMD graphics... But if the rumour about weaker specs holds true or they don't give me a good trade I'll probably not bother and see what happens later in the year.

I've got no interest in the fold (I don't see the appeal of a mediocre tablet that folds into an unwieldy phone), but I could definitely see me using a flip.

I also didn't think i would be in the fold device but i gave it a try and love it and the size i think is perfect balance carrying around and that extra scree space when open.

Interesting, though, that as of recently Samsung is no longer selling the S21 Ultra. Granted, people will be able to find it from third parties, mainly used, but the supply of S21 Ultras will slowly dwindle. Especially as people start to trade them in for S22 Ultras.

On Feb 8, 2021; Amazon placed the 128gb version on sale for $999.99 and the 256gb for $1049.00 ($200 off). Sale ended Feb. 14. Guess they cannot do that again for the S22.

I feel lucky about buying the S21 Ultra, almost a year ago today. In my case, I frequently buy a high dollar item and 1-2 months later something new and improved is released and I regret not waiting a little bit longer to buy it.

This hasn't been the case with my S21. I think this thing is great and I don't plan on trading it in for something else for several more years.
