Are you happy with cricket. Really thinking of going to them.

Very happy. Saving $130/month from our old Sprint plan. Better coverage as well. No complaints.

Yes, very happy we switched to Cricket.
Went from AT&T to Cricket, so same phones. Was paying AT&T $110 for two lines, UL minutes and texts, 3 GB with rollover, Paying Cricket $70 for UL minutes and texts, 2.5GB each line.
More than enough data for us, we hardly use more than 20%.
No Microcell with Cricket, but found that we have no problems in the house with only 2 bars.
The microcell became a PIA anyway as it limited the size of the pix I could send with a text.
No hotspot, which we miss when camping, I'm hoping Cricket will come out with an option.
Software updates are delayed, but that could be a good thing to get the bugs worked out.
Although we rarely go over our data allotment, I prefer a slow-down to getting slammed with an overage charge.,
Same network, and given that we never roamed on AT&T, the issue of no roaming on Cricket is not a problem.
The difference of $40 between AT&T and Cricket is too much to ignore.

So if I get a atnt phone it will work. If I take it to the store will they activated import how are numbers from Verizon. Or do I have to buy it from the store for them to help me. Also bringing a Verizon I phone 5c my moms phone. Will they help us activate that?

Some Verizon phones will work on AT&T (but not the other way around) and therefore they should work on Cricket. Fairly certain that an iPhone 5C from Verizon will work on Cricket.
If you poke around the Cricket Wireless website, In the box advertising a SIM for a Buck, click on "Get Started" The first step will be to enter the IMEI number. You will dial a code (*#60#) and your IMEI will show up on the screen. Enter that number. That should tell you if the phone will work or not. Ignore the message that says it may only work on the 3G network. It is a flaw in the program.
If you go to the Cricket store and get help setting up your account, they will charge a $25 activation fee for each line.
If you do all the work yourself online, you will not be charged an activation fee, just the 99 cents for the SIM (plus tax on the full price of the SIM ($9.99)) and the first month cost.

Best carrier I have had (Previously: Sprint, T-Mobile, Simple Mobile). I cannot remember the last time I had no service.
