Happy with my battery. Take a look

How's this... Took this last night.. How long battery lasts after rooting and removing/freezing.. all the crud... I also have always practiced letting the battery fully discharge/fully charge a few days for each new battery. I really think it helps. My ol Epic 4G went for 1.5 days on stock batteries easy!

Please tell me how you guys are doing this..........I can't even hit 2 hours of battery time and I have disabled all the apps I don't use like S voice. Give me some info people!!

There only things I've done are not have twitter update unless I open it and i don't have the weather widget refresh automatically. I leave wifi and gps on all the time. I also try to keep my screen brightness at around 40% unless I'm in sun.

I keep my screen at the minimum since in the office and put it up before I leave, I never use the auto brightness setting (I really miss the ability to swype the notification bar to change brightness that I had on my Epic 4G!!). Also use LBE Privacy Guard to restrict all apps from using any connection if they don't need it to function. Haptic Feedback is restricted as well. Huge payoff in power savings.

Went to visit my kids in camp last Sunday in Stroudsburg, PA. Took the phone off of the charger at 7AM. Had 37% left after 12 hours (granted with minimal use except for 15 minutes of GPS when we got lost and some picture taking). Nice to have a phone that you really don't have to worry about battery life.

Changing the brightness via the notification bar was the feature of touchwiz I used more than anything. I think I've seen it back with jelly bean. Hopefully that's the case

Battery life on this device is the same as my 4S, frigging great. Got over 16 hours and I tethered a external device for two hours....and I am only two full battery cycles in, it should peak at 3-5 full cycles:cool:
