Haptic feedback making funny sound

Now when I go to tap the bottom buttons or the keys on my keyboard the haptic feedback is making a funny sound as well as vibrating. It has a "creaking" sound to it like an old leather shoe with a subtle squeek or a door opening in an old horror movie.

It is very quiet but I can still hear it. It is kinda driving me nuts. I checked all the settings I could think of. There is a "make a sound" option in the feedback section but that is unchecked already.

Any suggestions?

I've never heard a sound. On any of my EVOs. You might want to check the motor. Pull off the back NFC cover. The vibrator motor is just above the camera lens. Make sure there isn't anything in there, like some fuzz or a strand of hair wrapped around the motor shaft. That can make it squeal when it spins.
