I have heard that the haptic feedback on the OnePlus 6 is terrible and not any better on the 6T. Anybody have a 6 that can give me a comparison or some kind of idea how bad they are?

The haptic is ok not the best, they feel like from Nexus 5x

No not slow to respond, just not powerful enough

I often forget how bad haptic are on android because i always have it off. But it is one thing i miss switching from my iphone lg and now the pixel 3 get close but i wish more people would take it seriously

The haptic feedback reminded me of the early touchscreen phones lol. At least coming from an iPhone that's how I felt. But I've now been using the 6T for a few hours and I've gotten used to it and it's not bad.

If I don't hear my OP6 vibrate in a quiet room, I'd never know it happened, including if it's in my pocket.

I concur.

My 6 has always felt like the engizer bunny gave me the bird with a sly grin on it's face as it banged on by.

Sad to see the 6T has the same issue.

Normally I wouldn't but it's so light that's it's a little irritating. At least with no haptic feedback I have no expectations.

I'm lurking here absorbing because I have a OP6 inbound via FedEx, and have been ruining the same 5x since release and agree on the weak vibration. With a Rooted stock ROM I run Ex Kernel and maxed the vibration level out and its acceptable.
I hope its as good when I apply it to the OP6 if I keep it. If it makes it past the trial period she will take root. After years on a 5x it should be like night and day.



FYI, I opted for the 6 over the 6t for the jack, rear FPS, and notification light.
