I'm torn between the P7P vs the S22 Plus. Don't care for the Ultra due to the hard corners.

I've read the P7P gets pretty warm during normal use, read battery life isn't as great as the S22 Plus plus the Pixel looks like it would be really slick. Lol.

Compared to S22 Plus the Pixel 7 Pro is better in every way. If there is some competition then it's with the S22 Ultra not with Plus. As far as getting warm, don't have that on my 7 pro with regular use. And battery is great in comparison to the S22 Ultra which in turn beats the S22 Plus.

Camera a factor for you at all? Want the best photos? Or are okay/good photos good?

Is the point and shoot THAT much better on the Pixel?
As a long time pixel and Samsung owner, I would say the pixel is better.

Especially moving objects such as sporting events, kids sports, pets, etc....

I have the Z Fold, but I also carry a pixel just for photos....

I'll take a look at it. I did read its a really smooth machine.

Are you interested in point and shoot photos or manual controls? If point and shoot, then Pixel is better. If manual controls, then S22+ is better.

The p7 pro is newer than the s22 plus, so yeah it has better updated specs. The future s23 plus would be a better comparison. The s22 plus still has the better build quality IMO. Also Samsung has better customizations, AOD, video lockscreens, etc. So it depends on what is important to you.
