i've read on here that doing a factory reset may help with some who are having battery problems. I Want to try this but want to know exactly what i will need to do after this is completed. factory reset, i understand keeps your phone number with the phone and you start fresh with having to reload all of your apps and settings. how can i save my settings with a 3rd party app?

thanks!

how do i export my settings and all that? i just want to see exactly what a factory reset does as oppossed to a hard reset.

battery life is killing me.

fyi - battery life is killing me too...i bought a second battery and charger on ebay for ten bucks...works great, no problems. also, i turned off my internet during the day when i'm at my computer with an app called dcswitch and my battery is fine all day now. so that helps too if you don't need internet all day long. aside from that, i just try to keep that damn screen off whenever possible. i'm up to about 6 or 7 hours of battery use now when i use the screen and internet. if i don't use the screen or internet as much, 8 or 9 hours.
hope that helps.
