I am thinking it's time to do a hard reset.
I am getting some Issues on my Inc.
A com.htc.bg force close, Nothing works when it's on the charger, etc.

What do I loose when a hard reset happens?
Since you can't back up these phones, what do I need to write down?

Also, where is the hard reset?

When you do a factory or hard reset, you loose everything. It will set your phone back to day one when you got it. There are ways to make things easier, for all your apps, download Astro and save all your apps to your SD card, you can reload them in mass when you set up your phone again. You will also want to migrate all your photos and any other data that is on the phone's memory to the SD card as all this will be wiped too. All your contacts are saved on your gmail account so there is no worry there. To do a hard reset menu> settings> privacy> factory data reset> reset phone.

Any way to get all my apps back without Astro? I think a hard reset is in my future too. Freakin Facebook screwed up all of my contacts and pics. Says I have over 29000 facebook contacts now WTF?? I hate that we have to resort to doing this for this error. Anyone come up with a better method yet?

You can also get your app's back when you go to the market and then hit menu and downloads its not any easier then astro.

This is one reason I love root is because you can back up your entire phone.

Here is an easier way to delete your contacts.

Go to people then hit menu>delete>back (to hide keyboard)>menu>select all

Then you will need to add all your contacts back.
