I have a motorola bought, nexus 6, I am currently on T-mobile. I have some questions
  • The visual voice mail in 6.0+ works with Tmob, I would assume it would also work with Fi.(I have read somewhere that some carriers it does not work)
  • Not that I have a lot of phone calls anymore, but do you get the benefits of sprint or t mob's enhanced 4g LTE mode features? (Volte, hd voice, etc...)
  • If the question above is yes, do they cross carriers, ie...If I am on sprint service talking to someone on a t mobile headset, or any variation in between.
  • In an event that you are in a bad coverage area for both carriers but you are in an area that has good At&T coverage, will it connect to a AT&T tower as a Tmobile network partners(I know the data would be slow, Im talking about voice calls or texts). This is how my current Tmobile works, it will even say in the pull down menu that it is on At&t.

1) If I understand correctly, you are talking about the visual voicemail that is built into the dialer. If that is what you mean, yes, it works on Fi.
2) You do not get VoLTE or, I believe, HD Voice. You should get Sprint's "LTE Plus" carrier aggregation.
3)n/a
4)Fi does appear to roam on some of Sprint's and T-Mobile's roaming partners. Some have posted on forums that apps like Signal Check has shown them on AT&T (with the slow data), and I recall a person posting they were in an area where only Verizon has service and they still had a signal, could make calls, and appeared to have a slow data connection.
