Is there a way to do diagnostics on the hardware on our phones to see if there is something going bad on them

Like any and all things hardware; diagnostics depend quite a bit on what specifically you are referring to.

For example a button could be tested by running a logcat and seeing if anything is processed on button press. As you go into things like testing the accelerometer or vibrating mechanism things get a touch more difficult but it's still possible. In the case of the vibrating mechanism there are apps to toggle it manually. I guess my point is we would need to know what specifically you are trying to diagnose before being able to point you in the right direction. As for an all encompassing diagnostic tool while the idea isn't bad it would have to be made specifically for the device in question (eq: alternating file paths, hardware design, etc: all differ from device to device).

Will Z Device work with my OV?? I do a lot of ROM Swapping ( Chronic Flashing Syndrome ) a reliable diagnostic tool would come in REAL handy..

Well I am a computer tech so I was thinking a app that. Will. Ram rom audio USB battery sccreen the whole main board in the pphone and attachhed devicces and I understand each device maybe different but they all have the basic components and the drivers.for everythinng is alreaady on the phone. But mainly At this point. I'm concerned about the wifi and audio parts of my phone as well as the ram and rrom
