i have the samsung S8 has any one gone from a samsung S8 too a google pixel or XL if so how did that go for you? am all so looking too save some $ on my bill i find 31.50 a little high for me i like some in around $27 i think verizon is haveing a good back too school deal on a google pixel right now wish i want too get in on

For the 4.50 I'd stick with the S8. It's nominal for $ and the phone kicks butt. Not that the pixel is bad (from what I hear) but I can tell you from experience that this S8 is some serious a## kickery. You won't be sad that you spent the few extra bucks.

There has to be more to your rationale than $4.50 per month?

As well, noticing your avatar & your user id would make me think that water resistance should be important to you.
Pixel would not be a good fit for that.

My Google Pixel XL is at it's box, waiting for 8.0 Platform Upgrade. I really like my Galaxy S8+. If you want a Pixel just wait for the next Pixel 2 more or less October 2017. I don't want more Google phones, I want next year Galaxy S9+.
