Hey all,

I never thought i would be considering it, but i'm thinking about selling my bionic. After getting a good quote for my phone on Gazelle.com for my phone, i will probably use the site to sell my phone. Has anybody used the site before? Can it approved? Finally, should i factory reset the entire phone if i send it it? Does it need to be activated?

Thanks.

I have used Gazelle a couple of times to get rid of phones. They will offer you less than what you would get for offering it on ebay, for example, but they pay quickly and are hassle free. At least from my experience with them..

Be careful they like to drop the price when they have your phone already and try to get you to agree. It's hell trying to get it back if you don't accept their offer. IMO sell it through ebay or craigslist. I just don't like for anybody to say give me the product first then ill send your money.

I've used them several times. They're great if you don't want to bother with eBay.

If you live in a largish city use Craigs list. Took me a few weeks, but got some good cash for my DroidX

They offered me 200 for my iPhone 4 32gig . Sold it for 400 on craigslist

To people that have sold their phones,

Should the phone be reset and deactivated before i send it in?

I would reset back to factory. You never know who is inspecting your phone when you ship it to unfamiliar territory. With that said, I i've used gazelle 5 or 6 times now, never had a single issue. I am impatient with ebay, so gazelle is the only way I sell electronics now.

I just sold my Bionic this Saturday on swappa.com for $199.00 (included a lap dock). Swappa gets $10.00, Paypal get's $4.00 and I paid 19.00 to ship it to the buyer. I couldn't take the connection drops any more. So at least a now have a few more dollars for my next purchase. I took back my OG Droid from my son who had been using it for games and will use that until my next phone. BTW - I wish all phones were made as solid as that OG Droid because after a year of use by a 9 yr. old, this 3 year old device works perfectly - albeit a little slow and a little small.
