Has Anyone Disable the Briefing App?

I just read on anther site that the briefing app (Powered by Flipboard) can actually produce some lag.
I have not noticed any issues. Does the full feature Flipboard app run much better?

I really did not like the Briefing app: scrolling to get only a very few stories compared to the full Flipboard app made no sense to me. I prefer the Flipboard app where I can actually flip through the stories and change categories or news sources.

I disabled Briefing and removed the widget from the homescreen.

One of the first things I disabled. Haven't tried Flipboard on the GS6.
