Has anyone else noticed this camera error

Alright so I've had Bionic since launch day and I have installed the updates(currently am on 5.9.901). With each version, I notice that whenever you are in the text message app (I use stock), choose insert new picture and I press capture..the image preview doesn't update. I must click Done then wait for it to resize then open it to see if it looks ok. This is really annoying for me(esp if the flash activates because i will have to retake the photo multiple times...each time clicking done and resizing..then back to step 1). I've never seen this mentioned and it has not been fixed thus far so I wanted to know if it was just my Bionic or if everyone's does it but no one else has noticed. Thanks.
