When you rename an event it has to transfer all of the pictures/videos/zoes to another location. It can take a few minutes to complete. Yesterday I went to the park with the family and had over 100 pics. It took forever to rename the event. I guess we will have to rename the event after the first picture to get around this.... Any other solutions?
