Has anyone gotten Straight Talk to work on the AT&T version?

I have a brand new AT&T version of the gs3 and bought a straight Talk sim. I can text, make calls, but I can't get the Internet to work, I have no 3g at all. Is there a trick to this? Does it have to be unlocked? Does anyone have a step by step walk through?

Thanks!

Yep, followed the directions, all the correct stuff is in there. The old at&t stuff is in there but all I can do is discard it which really does nothing. I can't edit their setting either, naturally. It is set to straight Talk, I rebooted the phone, but still nothing.

Update.

Called straight Talk, deleted the apn, then entered all the stuff the tech told me to put in, then the tech worked on the account for it, rebooted phone and presto, worked great.

So for all your considering it, yes, it works without rooting or some type of unlocking on the at&t gs3.

So I wouldn't have to buy an unlocked AT&T version to get the GS III working on Straight Talk? Like as in, I could buy a GS III off AT&T's website (or in store, from another retailer, etc), pop in my Straight Talk micro sim, get the apn all situated and it'd work fine?
