I'm curious to know as well. My wife had a close call with her Moto X, but fortunately she still had the original screen protector on.

Go online, (go to help, repair/damage) and they walk you through the process or directions. I'm pretty sure at the end of that process you call and get an RMA. Costs $175 if you have no insurance.
