Has Anyone Removed Pre-installed Screen Protector?

Has anyone removed the screen protector and rocking it naked or switched screen protector brands? How does the screen look? I feel like maybe the screen protector is washing out and making the whites look blurry. I have seen this on other cheap screen protectors that I have used on previous phones. However, I am afraid to take mine off. Any good options for replacement screen protectors?

I always use my phone naked.but ill make an exception this time... But i would recommend non tempered protectors as it might interfere with the fingerprint scanner.

It's perfect and so much better.

For now, I have no plans to remove it. It is the first time I have had one. Since the introduction of the curved screen displays, my displays have gone commando. It's really not hard to avoid scratches if you are not in a harsh environment. I put mine face in the same pocket with nothing else, no coins and no keys. If you put it in a purse, put it in a pocket or section by itself. When you take it out, make sure you have a good grip and avoid sharp surfaces. When you place it face down, be careful where you put it and be aware of the slickness of the surface.

keeping the pre installed screen protector on until it gets ugly. so far only a couple of little scratches, and peace of mind knowing the glass underneath is perfect.

I'm rocking it naked. I've never put a screen protector on my phones. Definitely don't want to deal with it on a phone that has an in screen FPS. My phone always goes in an isolated pocket with nothing else in it so I don't get scratches on my screen.

I removed mine on launch day and installed a Skinomi screen protector. It works great with the FPS and I feel like it adds a little more grip to the phone too.

Removed mine day one. Tried the S10+ first and returned it cause the fingerprint sensor was so problematic. Decided to give it another try cause I was sick of the cell issues I was having with my V30. I read taking it off helps the FP sensor. Not sure if that did it or if the smaller S10 size makes it easier to place my finger but the sensor is working awesome now. I always rock my phones without a screen protector as I am soooo careful that I literally never drop my phones. I didn't take it off the S10+ as I was worried it might affect my ability to return it. When I took it off I was surprised as it's such a thin piece of crap, feels really just like the regular cellophane layer surrounding phones.

Rev.

I removed it due to how it looked with my polarized sunglasses.

Installed: IQShield from Amazon
Samsung Galaxy S10 Screen Protector (6.1")[Case Friendly](2-Pack), IQ Shield LiQuidSkin Full Coverage Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S10 HD Clear Anti-Bubble Film

And it looks and works great.

I removed mine day one, it definitely makes the screen washed out and I noticed more of a rainbow affect on the curves of the display. Also drove me nuts having the cutou8around the camer6, every time I would swipe down to go to settings or open the quick settings panel, my finger would run over it. Sooo much better than with the screen protector. But, that's just me, I never use protectors.

Yeah removed because the screen looks and feels so much better to me without that flimsy screen protector.

When I first got the device I used with the provided case and screen protector. After about a week I decided to remove the case and used it naked, surprisingly S10+ Ceramic is very resistant to scratches but the device is too thin to use I slapped it back into the case after using it without the case for a week.

The screen protector is still on from the factory, I don't think I'll be removing it anytime soon, its doing a decent job !

I had too after it fell...

Had my SAMSUNG kickstand case on.

Semi-naked. LOL

Downside to these Infinity Displays. I hate how third party screen protector or tempered glass doesn't hold up.

No, I'm not spending more than $30 CAN for a case or any screen protector.

I figured my Ringke wallet case does the job.

most of the users remove the pre-installed protector. I don't know why it happens but may be there is insecurity towards that pre-existing protector and just wants to spend even more on devices to satisfy their inner soul. I don't know the reason.

I removed my S10 Plus screen protector today after it fell down on the tarmac!

My heart sank to my stomach as I picked my S10 Plus up nothing happened just a very tiny scratch on the metal frame near the USB port and the screen protect was destroyed and the plastic case that came with the device took all the damage.

As I peeled the screen protector off, the screen underneath was smooth as my cats toe beans :P
