Has anyone seen this charging message?

I know this phone charges slow and all. But I am using my tablets powerful charger and this phone is still telling me that I am using more juice than juice being delivered to the device. I really hope HTC offers a fix if at all possible. All I am doing is streaming some music. This is not the first time this message has popped up.

Damn, I am shocked that you are seeing this message with such minimal use. I have seen this exact message on my One while charging and using Navigation. I was using a different charger, the only time I caught the message. Not the one that came packed with the phone.

Different chargers supply different amounts of power and there may be un-closed apps or services that you have left running in the background. A tablet charger is not necessarily more powerful than a phone charger. Using a 3rd party (car?) charger with navigation is a classic example, gps + mobile data sucks a lot more juice than most chargers supply. I used to experience the same problem with my S2, got a free car charger with something and it wouldn't even keep the phone on, switched to an official Samsung car kit and the problem disappeared.

I tried my nexus 7 and 10s charger and my hp tablet's charger. Those are 2amp power supplies but it's evident that the phone regulates the power no matter how powerful the charger.

I love my HTC One but the slow charging is a pain.

I would say there is a problem with your one. I would take it back and try another one.

yes I have especially when I let my phone go into the red and power saver kicks on , from what I see you do have a lot of things running simultaneously radio wise while charging from a low decharged state..

I think every one is. Lol. But the htc one is still new. I got an unable to charge message from a car charger once. There's a lot of bugs in such a new device that need to be ironed out.

I don't think the charging message automatically means there is a problem with your phone, if you look at the notification bar and then read what the message says, it's actually pretty self explanatory.
