I was considering canceling my Verizon account and moving to Sprint because I can go from 2 smart phones and 2 regular phones to 4 smart phones and unlimited data for $30 less per month than I am currently paying. I was wondering if anyone was looking at doing the same thing, or if any of you could provide me with some good insight into doing this. Thanks!

Best part about Sprint is that they are improving their network, hopefully, and that their data speeds are excellent.

Now it depends on what you're looking for out of a carrier - Verizon is everywhere, though not as everywhere as some people think but they absolutely SUCK for Android phones.

Sprint, even though you'll pay $10 for rich data, it's still means you'll have unlimited data plus unlimited texting and so on. Just about everything Verizon offers, Sprint offers as well.

Just note that though Verizon cuts off unlimited data on the 7th.

Wait, am I actually defending Sprint lol?

Curious as well I like that sprint isn't trying to take away unlockable bootloaders and adding rediculous tethering fees and other dumb policies verizon is implementing but I don't know if I can go to dropping calls and not having a signal etc

i switched last week and traded my T-bolt in and got the evo 3D. im pretty happy with my decision. sprint's network is pretty good around where im from so there isnt a big difference. Im also paying $35 a month less than what i was paying for verizon.

Wow, didnt think i would see the day you defend sprint after those endless threads of yoy bashing them. Lol. Oh how the tides have turned.

But anyways, back on topic. You need to use what works best for you. Sometimes the cheaper carrier may not be for you because they dont have signal in your area. If sprint gets good signal where you live and work. Go for it. If they dont, it may be worth that $30 extra a month for something that works

If you are thinking of switching check out the link below. It's a $125 credit for anyone who transfers a cell number from another carrier to Sprint. I'm definately considering it, and the credit would help offset my early termination fee.
