Has anyone tried the free Bluetooth with EVO from Best Buy?

mine is still in its packaging. and of course it's in that sealed hard to open hard plastic packaging that's a real chore to open.

i don't really like BT headsets and never really used one before other than a quick test. BUT i was wonder how well this one worked - and with the EVO.

anyone tried it? using it? thoughts?

I tried it and it works, but it's not the best. There was some static when I made a call. Can't beat it for the price (FREE!). If you need a BT headset, then this is your huckleberry.

My fiancee got mine, she broke her Jabra JX10, so she took this one. She hasn't really used it yet, and I could care less that she took it..

I'm using mine, and it seems to work just fine. Granted not as good as some of the more expensive headsets, but for free, I ain't complainin..

I would not use the charger for the headset with the EVO. If you look at the output of the plantronics charger, it's 180ma while the charger for the EVO is 1A or 1000ma.

I like the headset. I only use bluetooth when I am driving. You have to have the volume all the way up, and the headset in the ear opposite your window, but the sound is acceptable at full volume, and none of the people i was speaking to knew I was on a bluetooth. They were all actually a bit impressed. Solid headset, real lightweight and comfortable. I've had better ones, but I've also had MUCH worse. Hope this helps, Josh
