has anyone tried the original baseband

I have seen this question asked elsewhere, but I haven't seen anyone answer it. Has anyone tried to flash the original baseband on their Ns4g and, if so, have they noticed any improvement in the radio issues. I am referring to the baseband that was originally on the phone prior to that like day after release update ota that changed it.
