Has the Samsung Gear S2 Strap defect been resolved? Is anyone still experiencing issues?

When the Samsung Gear S2 came out, complaints came about 2-3 months after release from customers who's bands suddenly broke off at the connector points. Is this still a common issue? I just got the Gear S2 3g and don't want my band to suddenly break one day...

I've been wearing mine every day since October, and while I don't want mine to suddenly break one day either, I've had no issue with the band. Just checked the four screws, and they're tight.

I have had mine for about 5 months and wear it everyday and I used to notice the band's would get loose and one day I took the band of to clean it and the clip thing fell off and I lost the little spring inside but I managed to find it after like an hour haha but after that I put it on and screwed it tight and it would get loose like after a week and I will tighten it again but this only happened cause I used to take off the straps everyday to clean them so I stopped and they haven't got loose in months so as long as your not taking them on and off alot you should be fine

Okay, good to know. And I am curious about these "fca." and "fch." brandings on my bands, both large and small size. Do you guys have them on yours? 20160430_112612.jpg

No I don't have those marking on my bands wierd maybe the problem is resolved and that how they tell that there the newer improved ones idk

On the small band I have FCG & FBc (yes it is a lower case c), then one the large band is FBZ & FCG. As to what the letters mean, I have no clue.

Mine from October has no markings on the bands for the larger. The smaller are packed away, so I can't check those. And again, no loosening, or issues with mine.

Good to hear.. and do you take your watch off every night? Or at least fairly often for charging and such?
