Has Verizon Released The Galaxy Nexus?

Sorry guys had to do it! Found it on Twitter last night.

Saw it also. Too antisocial to make a thread I may have to participate in, however. Glad you shared it, I also laughed when I read it on twitter. You follow @britishturbo?

Being able to tell what will sell is a talent few have. Steve Jobs had it, and that is why he turned apple it to what it is. I hate the products myself, but he knew what would sell to "most" people. I dont think verizon is quite as good at it.

Yup, that's why they lost years of possible revenue from the iPhone.

Well look at the mouse. Apple did not come up with that. IBM (I think, not sure) had it lying around and thought it was a novelty not worth their time.

Xerox actually created the mouse to go along with the first visual operating system. Apple then stole the idea and did the usual we made it first routine

I'm sure with the 84 billion in cash they have they are worried.

No, they lost revenue because they refused to allow Apple to dictate to them. Or was it that Apple refused to allow Verizon to dictate to them? Either way, the result was the same. Two 800 pound gorillas butted heads and, IMO, neither came out winners.

Had the iPhone sold on Verizon 3 years ago, Android wouldn't have enjoyed the explosion in popularity that it did because VZ, with the best network in the US, wouldn't have pushed it like they did. Also, Apple would have had the lion's share of the smart phone market, Motorola would probably have gone out of business and Samsung wouldn't be the largest smart phone manufacturer in the world.
