I have an Optimus S that was rooted and I was using CM7 Rom on it. I started to have some issues with it such as not being able to control my ringers (assigning them) and had problems with LOTS of force closes. So I started to "play" for lack of a better word, with the settings and somehow I ended up bricking the thing (continuous reboot cycle, it was weird). So I tried a lot of different things with my phone, and it just got worse, so I did a factory reset on it and Im set back to basically how it was, but the kernel is still the same as it was when I had it rooted and the ROM on it.
So my long winded question is. Do I have to reROOT the thing to get back a ROM on my phone? I had a terrible experience rooting the thing in the first place and Im really bad at this, but I cant live with the stock version, it just SUX!! Any suggestions on a different ROM? and any help with getting this thing set back up would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!!
