Have Lost the Zoom icon on my LG G3. Where is it?

I have used the zoom feature frequently. One day the icon for zooming had disappeared. I don't know what I did. I have tried to find it going through the other icons on the camera but no luck. Any suggestions/answers would be greatly appreciated.

Normally, the zoom slider appears when you place two fingers on the display and move them together or apart. Does this not happen for you? If so, try first a Power Off and Restart. If no go, try clearing the cache for Camera in the app manager. If still no go, try Safe Mode, to test whether a third-party app is causing trouble.
