Have Samsung Galaxy s4 SCH-I545android 4.4.2. Gets hot won't charge or turn on. got new batt.

Really do need this device to be working because is like the main home base with ALL of my data and personal stuff from the beginning in April2014 . On March2017 started using android tablets 5.0 lollipop for my gaming and had Samsung gs4 link and synced to tablets. But tablets don't have all info that the s4 has on it. and now I'm also having problems with 4out of 6 of the tablets I use for gaming and other stuff. So I'm afraid of losing all my data and etc from the last 4years. Will need help with tablets also but want s4 fixed first. Please help me ,Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be clear, the new battery doesn't work either? Can you try charging the battery in an external charger, then inserting it into the phone and powering it on? If it still doesn't turn on, try pressing and holding Power for about 20 seconds.

If nothing happens, then it could be a problem with the Power button itself, or something more serious with the motherboard. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop. Hopefully you've been keeping important data backed up or synced on a regular basis -- never rely on a phone as the sole storage for important data.
