On white back rounds I have this multicoloured line thats small but that still annoys me. How can I get rid of it?

Hey Chetan.
When you say you have multicolored lines, do they appear as a software or hardware issue? If software, has there been any recent updates or changes to your devices software? Has the device been damaged lately? If so, how? If hardware, the only option would be to replace the screen, which in many cases includes the digitizer and glass.

Hardware since the line is in the same spot every time. I will try a reset of it and hopefully if it's software then all will be well if not however I may have to live with it(or use car wax) until the Nexus 5.

most likely its your lcd display

Anyway to get rid of it completely with car wax perhaps or just hide it? It annoys me deeply.

I don't know that car wax would do much...can you feel it with a nail, ie, do you think it is in the glass or in the digitizer? If it's in the glass, perhaps a screen protector would hide it a bit.

These people(last two replies) seem to show success.

Many times, screen protectors do a great job of covering up surface scratches. Since it isn't quite a surface scratch, and without seeing it, I can't promise anything. But it wouldnt hurt.

Yeah I will certainly be buying a couple of screen protectors.

It's not bad enough to have a texture (I can't feel it if I rub my finger over it), but it does reflect the light in just a way that makes it fairly visible when a light background is displayed. I was feeling something else on the screen(that I immediately cleaned) So I guess the screen protecter should hide it thanks!
