I like having my watch face who my number of steps however I can't seem to get it to show my number of steps through Google Fit and instead uses MotoBody. I am using one of the default faces that says moto on it. A side note is that the step count is really different. Through moto body it shows 1360 steps and Google Fit shows 3216 steps. I'm not really sure which is correct.

Is there a place to have it show my steps from Google Fit on the watch face or do I need to switch away from a moto face to do this?
Do others prefer Moto body to Google Fit?
Any idea why the step count is so drastically different between the two apps?

Thanks.

I just tried adding a step counter on my watch using WatchMaker and it doesn't give me an option when doing so to choice an application to use so I'm assuming it uses Moto. I don't see a way to change that unless I'm missing something.

I have Moto and Jawbones UP application installed on my phone and watch and there's a big difference in the amount of steps between the two (Moto - 2582 and UP 1700). I've used UP for over a year having 2 fitness bands and now using it on my 360 and it's very accurate on the step counts. I'm an avid runner and compare the steps from UP and my GPS watch after a run and it's very close. I haven't used Google Fit so I'm not sure on its accuracy. I would highly recommend using Jawbone UP app because it offers much more than just steps if your really looking to track your daily fitness goals and progress.

I have no idea why there is such a difference between all the app's.

I am currently using UP by Jawbone (the purple one), Moto Body & Google Fit. My steps right now are: 8883 (UP), 9125 (MB) and 9263 (GF). So not an exact match, but pretty close for my needs.

I installed UP because I also use MyFitnessPal and neither MB or GF will upload steps to MFP. At first UP was about half the steps of the other two until I turned on - in the UP app, under Settings>Application Preferences - the Phone Motion Sensor. I had left it off, thinking it would double count my steps - once from my watch, once from my phone - but when I turned it on my steps became more accurate.

I leave Google Fit installed because many standard apps don't offer a MB choice but GF seems to be their default. Moto Body's nice because it will check your heart rate.

As far as using Moto Body in WatchMaker Premium, you can set it to open MB upon a tap. In Customize Watch, select the icon, then scroll down to Tap Action, then Watch:Select Application. You can select MB there if you have it installed.

If you want to have the Google fit steps you can change to the Google fit watch face or I would suggest Pujie Black watchface app. It is very easily customizable and has a built in integration with fit that allows it to sync and show the Google fit steps, distance, etc.
