Have to Exchange my Nexus - Signal and headphone jack

Unfortunately I have to get return my Nexus to amazon and get a new one. I've only had the phone for a week, and today while I was listening the music the sound went out from the right speaker in my headset. I tried 2 different headsets and a few different apps, and it's just not working now. If I wiggle the plug in the jack just the right way I can hear stereo but not with the jack properly inserted - I have to hold it in a particular way.

I've also had issues with data and voice dropping out on my phone. Had a razr for 4 weeks prior to getting the nexus and it had no such issues. Hoping maybe the new Nexus will get a better voice and data signal as well.

Also have to admit I'm a bit fearful that I may end up with a worse problem...

I feel the same way - I have cracking-popping speaker/poor mic/dropped calls/low 4G signal in good 4G coverage area issues as well. But my screen is perfect. I worry that I will be trading the devil I know for the devil I don't know, lol!

I am still going to exchange it though. If the next phone is worse, I am making a warranty claim.
