About a week ago, my Transformer just wouldn't power up for some reason. I don't know if anyone else here has experienced this or not. I've tried holding the power button down as long as 30 seconds as well as holding the power button and the volume down button together and still nothing.

I've also tried plugging it into my pc and I can't even get the pc to recognize it so I can access the Transformer.

My question comes in about how to protect my Gmail account from being accessed while Asus has the tablet. Of course we all have it set up to access our gmail through the app and I can simply change my Gmail password for new email but it seems that once the tablet has been set up, the old email stays on that device no matter what others I delete the email from. Anyone know how to get around that?

My guess is that they will probably wipe the data on the device during the process of fixing it. They may not even be able to fix it and may send you a different one. But to be safe, one thing you could do is just change your gmail password until you get it back. If you change your password, the gmail app on the tab will ask to reauthenticate and it won't be able to pull in your emails. Hopefully this helps.

If you can not access the device, there is nothing you can do about what ever might be on it. All you can do is change your passwords.
