What the title says. Have you ever had a phone get damaged by your sweat in any way, shape, or form? I am mildly worried about damage because sometimes I sweat a lot, and I am worried that the sweat will go into the home button when I push it. Please share your experiences. Thanks.

I sometimes run with my phone in my hand and it does get sweat on it. I just dry it off. I've had the phone for almost two years with no trouble and I do this Monday through Friday.

Yes: an old Motorola Droid that was in my pocket while I was hiking uphill in 95 degree weather. Since then I always put my phone in a zip lock when I hike.

Never had one damaged but I have sweat enough while working out to think about it though! :P I say just get a work out band if you work out enough. I plan to be running a lot more this summer time! Heat = sweatastic time! :P

My iphone 1 stopped working due to sweat getting under the screen and into the mic because I was talking on it while walking the dogs. Apple replaced it under warranty, no questions asked. I'm not sure that would happen currently with Apple or any android device oem.

I phone goes in my chest pocket when at work so when i things get labour intensive its always covered in sweat. Honestly i looks like i dunked it in water. Im so surprised the water damage tags havent changed color yet. Never had a problem though.

I ruined an iPhone 4S with my sweat. I run a lot and I live in FL. My Moto X seems to not mind the sweat.

So, I sweat like hell when partying (alcohol, movement, high degrees, also an extreme sweater) and my n5 withstood even the heaviest sweat. Believe me, it was soaked after 6 hours dancing, being in a light textile pocket. I wonder how no sweat leaked into any opening yet, but ye works ;)

I have not but when I workout/run with my phones I put them in a ziplock back and then put it into the arm strap for fear of sweat or condensation build up in the arm band damaging my phone.
