Have you installed Android 11 on your Pixel phone?

Pretty much my thoughts as well. I usually give in to the hype and regret it, but not this time! :D
So you have on the phone , how you like it ?
I'm assuming not too much different from android 10 .

I’ve sideloaded it on my 2XL, but I don’t think I’ll be spending much time with it. As you’d expect, most everything in Dev Options is strictly for devs... lots of the usual debugging and screen layout settings. The only Dev Opts that looked useful to me were for setting up the new adaptive notifications arrangements in R and Focus Mode in Digital Wellbeing. Mostly, though, I’m just bummed that the 2XL still can’t make use of the Home screen styles and wallpapers that came with Q last year.

I dont fool around with that , but its pretty cool.
It is DIRT SIMPLE to set up. All you need to do is install Android Studio, start a blank project, double tap the shift key, type "AVD" into the search and select AVD manager. Then you basically have a simple to use place where you can have virtual cell phones and tablet galore (as many as will fit on your SSD that is). Just select the device type, customize it of you want (you can also make a fully custom device should you want to do so), select which Android version you want and wait for sruuff to download. Once the wizard is over click the play button next to the Android virtual device (AVD) that you wanna fire up and POOOOOOOF: instant virtual phone for beta testing.

Yeah I've heard about it but never mess around with it .

Since my Pixel 2 is still my daily driver, no. Maybe, if they don't release an update for the 2, I'll install the last beta - but considering how a few of the apps I need to use regularly react to updates (TWRP still isn't working on the January or later updates), I may revert to 10 anyway. (That's the same thing that happened with the 10 beta - 3 RCs, and I went back to 9. My banking app only recently started to sort of work on 10 [it still throws errors, but works anyway], but when I needed it when I was running RC3, and it kept hard-crashing back to the home screen, I went back to 9.)

Installed it on my Pixel 3 XL. Few little bugs. Biggest one is Google Pay broke as usual with these.

I will install it on my Pixel 2 XL when the first public beta is released. I think might be June 13th. My Pixel 2 XL isn't one of my main phones .
