Some mysterious incident scratched my M8 camera lens. Now with the M9's Saphire Glass lens I'm feeling protected. But should I be so confident?

Are you aware of the M8 camera lens tip where you can just scratch away the surface of the lens to reveal a clean brand new lens?

Luckily it's something I never needed to do. But good to know there's a solution
