Haven't heard much about audio recording

Seemed for a while, LG was listing that as another improved feature.... something about dual mic recording with a mic in the earpiece, giving louder recordings less distortion. I swear it wasn't just based on video, but simple audio only recording. At one point a while back it even said the V30 could use external mics, Which would be great for folks like myself who like to capture concerts.

All that said, im suprised not one review/comparison video/preview has even touched on this.

That is such a minute, specific feature that you may never see one single reviewer cover it. Our best chance is Juan who specializes in audio and video features in smartphones.

It really interested me from the start so I would be thrilled if it does perform as was touted earlier.

This is a snippet from an article I was reading...

"The V30 houses an “HD Audio Recorder,” which allows it to use its audio receiver as a microphone (known as “receiver-as-a-mic” or, confusingly, “RAM”). This should allow the V30 to record both loud and quiet sounds with greater clarity.

Finally LG also briefly mentioned the low distortion offered by its new Hi-Fi Quad DAC and the wider audio paths that will allow it to process more audio data, without lag, and with greater accuracy."

Yeah, this under-reported feature is actually a key reason I want this phone. I record a lot of my musical performances, so this feature is a big deal to me.
