Having a Note 2, are people excited...

Are you excited about the new phones coming out and that will be coming out? I will be able to upgrade this July so I'll be looking to get a new phone. Any thoughts on the new devices to be released this year?

If you want to stay within the Note family (I still love the S-Pen), you have to look no further than the Note 4... BUT since you're upgrading in July, and you can wait a couple months, you could wait for the Note 5 to come out next year in September.

If you want to stay in the Samsung family but want to ditch the pen, then the S6 or S6 Edge is a very nice phone to replace yours with.

If you are ready to say bye-bye to Sammy, then I'd take a look at the HTC M9 or LG's phablets.

I try to stay at least one year behind technology. I wait for price drops and bugs to be worked out.
So yes, I'm excited about new releases to drop the price of last year's model.

I did have to replace my speaker. Got one on Ebay for less that $10 and while I was at it I got a new bezel which was less than $15.
I use the flip cover and carry it to work (which is a pretty rough environment) every day. Oh, and I had bought an extra flip cover when I got the phone. I replaced it once. It's everything I need and more.

I too am still running my launch day note 2. Ive tried 2 G3's ended up selling them. The note 4 does look nice, I never use my S pen, but like the screen real estate. Nothing has piqued my interest except for Project Ara. I will have to say, my bosses iPhone 6 takes gorgeous photos. I'll never have one tho, I love android too much. Thats about the only thing I wish my note had, a better camera. I'm rooted, stuck on 4.3 so I can save stuff to sd. I'm a heavy user (pandora, ttorrent, games) and it does stutter under a heavy load, but its still keeping up with all I do.
