I have been rooted for a while now, and everything has been working fine for me. However yesterday, my phone suddenly restarted out of nowhere and went into a bootloop. I was running aokp build 28, franco kernel, 4.0.4 radios, and a custom theme. Then I could not get it fixed and I unrooted and rooted again. However now whenever I install a rom everytime I go to the messaging or phone I get an error that says "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped" I am having major problems with my phone! Can anybody help me????

Did you do a nandroid backup of stock image?

Re: Having Issues With Phone!!!!!

Yes...I had to reflash my backup and I tried to put a rom on again and still same problem....

Re: Having Issues With Phone!!!!!

Might sound like a hassle.. But I would recommend a full factory image restore if no flashing is fixing it. Since you can get it booted, you can backup everything important you need from your sd card to your computer, then do a factory image restore, relock and unlock the bootloader so the sd card gets formatted too, and start from scratch.

Good instructions for restoring the images are here: http://www.droid-life.com/2011/12/1...the-bootloader-and-return-to-a-factory-state/

Keep us updated!

You put them in your sdk tools folder, its the folder which contains files named ADB and fastboot. Then you open a cmd prompt there, easily by holding shift and right-clicking in the folder, and selecting open command window here (im a little drunk and away from computer now so it might be you hold control and not shift, either way try both you'll see it, lol)

I understand this, however I cannot find those folder/files. I can't fine ADB or fastboot. Thanks for all your help by the way. Could I not have those files and because I rooted/unlocked bootloader using Wugs Galaxy Nexus Root Tool Kit. So I can switch to unroot/root fairly easily and I have, but the problem still persisted. Should I try unrooting/locking then try unlocking/rooting again then put a rom on again?

I mean... Yeah that will wipe everything so it could solve the issues you've got, if you can do that. Lol this is the reason 1-clicks are bad for the population! :)
