Having trouble setting notification tones

Hello everyone,
I am having issues in trying to set new notification tones for the different e-mail accounts I am using.
I have no problem setting normal ringtones and have added a few new ones, so I know my way around the phone, however, I am not able to set a new notification tone and it only lists the stock notification tones on the phone. I want a different e-mail notification sound for the different e-mail accounts that I have.
I am using K9 mail.

Any help would be appreciated.

On ure memory card there should be a folder called media. In it should be another folder called notifications, drop the ringtone in it and go to settings>sound>notifications and select the one you want
