HBO GO won't work what do I do?

Ever since the update for my S7 Edge HBO GO would not work. I tried to go to the Play Store to see if the app needed updating but it said my device is no longer compatible. what should I do?

I would send the HBO Go developer feedback about this issue. They may have to work on a patch to make the app compatible again. hbogohelp@hbo.com

I have had the same issue. It is very annoying. I spent time chatting with someone from Samsung, and all they could offer is that HBO Go will have to make an update and we just have to wait until that happens. I am not savvy enough to know WHY they are all of a sudden incompatible, but I am pretty annoyed.

Let me guess.... you got updated to 7.0?

HBO is working on a fix. Keep in mind that app devs often don't have anything to go on until updates get released. So they have no way of knowing if an update will break their stuff until they hear from irate users. And as this is HBO, not some small dev with a small user base, the development cycle for a fix isn't something that will take a day or two. They gotta fix, then go through full test cycle to make sure they don't break everyone else, then push it out.

I figured it out on my phone, so hopefully yours will be the same. Not sure how I got there, but if you have everything in google, go to your google account on a computer, search and you will see that you already have HBO go installed, just tap on the "installed" app and follow instructions. It's been so long, but I just did it today, yay, Game of Thrones, can't wait.
