HCv4 - Help w/ Google Voice FC

I know others are running google voice on HC... I've seen them post about it. That said, I'm not sure why it won't run on mine.

It starts up fine, I hit the "next" button to begin the setup process and it FC's w/ the following msg:

(process com.google.android.apps.googlevoice) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.)

Can anyone help me get this app running?

remove the app, reboot and install again.

did you get GV from the market or are you installing via adb?

market. and i've removed and reinstalled a few times now.

i haven't set up ADB yet. haven't needed to. been using root explorer. is there a specific apk i can push to /system/app that would work? if so, where, and what are the permissions?

I'm just curious what is Google Voice used for since there's no mic on the Nook? To listen to voicemails, etc?

so i grabbed an apk and pushed it to /system/app. still get the same fc message when i hit the "next" button after it first starts.

Ahhhhh okay. That's pretty awesome I didn't think about that. I might have to get a Google Voice number after all.

it might not be compatible with HC, thats why you are getting the FCs
