Is anyone else amazed by just how good the HDR is on this phone. Even if only mobile HDR, I find the HDR content from YouTube and Netflix to be fantastic. Last night I watched an episode of Iron Fist on the Note 8 and had the same episode playing on my iPhone 7 Plus and the difference is incredible. I seriously fall more in love with this phone everyday.

I put the Note 8 up against my wife's 6s and with my Note 8 at 60% brightness it made the iPhone look like 1990's technology.

How do you activate this or is it on by default?

I changed my display resolution to 1440p for maximum effect, but otherwise it's on by default (at least on the unlocked model). In YouTube you can just search HDR videos, but make sure you check the resolution to make sure it says 1080 HDR or 1440 HDR, etc. because some videos are listed as HDR when they only mean 4K. Those are two different things. Netflix will have the HDR indicator listed beside compatible titles such as Daredevil and Iron Fist. Amazon Video also has some HDR content.

So, I have a Note 8 and I can watch YT with HDR. But when it comes to gaming, I just couldn't activate HDR in graphics settings. Please help help help
