I would like to thank everyone on this forum. You have been a big help to me. I went to the Walmart on 84th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska this morning. They had 3 Evo's in stock. I wasn't eligible to upgrade until August 1st but I figured I'd ask anyway. The sales clerk called Sprint and they allowed me to upgrade 3 days early. There were a few posts that said you should check some stores you wouldn't normally get a phone. I didn't realize that Walmart had such a wide selection. By reading the posts on this forum I had already gathered together screen protectors, batteries, a Seidio Rugged case, a wall and car charger, and other odds and ends. I work nights and should be in bed but this phone is amazing. With a little luck maybe I can catch a cold or Ebola or something and call in sick. Once again, THANKS TO ALL!

grats on your new EVO. For me the EVo is the best phone I have ever owned and I am very happy with it and android.

I also had to wait a bit before I could upgrade and I gathered a Seidio Innocase 2 and holster ,screen protector , wall charger , car charger, windshield mount before I even had the phone.

im shocked they let you upgrade early. i have a friend who is eligible on 8/1 and she tried calling sprint yesterday to bump it up a few days early and they denied her.

I scored mine yesterday. Big ups to Best Buy Mobile in Towson, MD. Got the EVO in white, Was trying to hold out for Black, but got a Black Seidio Spring Clip and Holster and all is good!

Congrats. I was also lucky. The last day I had to return my iPhone 4 was the same day the Sprint store magically had 40 EVO's in stock. I was able to save my old phone number.

Nice! I never think to look in Walmart. Surprisingly, there isn't a walmart nearby me, though it definitely is a good place to remember to check when I'm looking for my next phone.
