Headphone help

My icon is stuck and won't allow me to hear anything . but I've not had headphones hooked up n days. matter of fact i was listen to music out loud about 45 mins ago n now nothing. What can be done to remedy this

If I have this right you are trying to play music over the speakers, yet the headphone icon is stuck up on the phone? Have your tried restarting the phone? It could be some dirt build up in the jack. If you put some headphones in and take them out does that do anything?
