My headphone jack was working fine until something got caught in it. When i got the thing out only one side of the headset, I have tried out different headsets and it is the same problem. Is there any way i can fix this?

What got caught? Are you sure it's completely cleared out? Use a damp toothpick to root around, or blow it out with a can of compressed air. And are you saying that you can only hear things out of one ear now on any headset?
